Pastel Constructions

Post-war architecture is often constructed in materials of varying shades of grey….. Except when it isn’t, or when the sun hits the grey and turns it to sparkling gold, or where the glass alters the tone of the building. All these shots demonstrate how colours of contemporary (and some older) buildings can enliven their surroundings, though not in these cases particularly vibrantly. The theme here is that muted colours and pastel tones work on large scale and smaller projects - they sometimes pass unnoticed, though they can be found in every urban environment.
